Aaron ClarkPartner

Aaron commenced as a sole practitioner approximately 25 years ago. In 1985 he joined in partnership and the practice continued to grow to include four partners when it joined BKR Walker Wayland group in 1997. Following changes to partner structure the firm changed it's name to CKG Partners on October 1st 2003.

Aaron specialises in delivering well-balanced business advice to a wide range of clients and has a particular interest and expertise in small and medium business planning and auditing.

As a service provider, Aaron is conscious of the significance of good interpersonal relationships with his clients and the importance of mutual trust and respect.

He insists on remaining accessible to his clients, delivering an energetic level of service and assistance to achieve a balance of growth and quality of life from their business activities. Aaron is the firm's audit partner.

Anthony KrausePartner

Anthony graduated from the University of Queensland in 1980 and joined one of the major international accounting firms as a graduate. After travelling and living overseas for three years, Anthony returned to Brisbane in 1987 and joined Price Waterhouse in their Corporate Taxation Section. During this time Anthony became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. In 1992, Anthony commenced his own practice, gaining vast experience in assisting clients in all areas of small business and taxation.

In order to provide a better range of services to clients, Anthony joined the BKR Walker Wayland Brisbane practice in October 1999.

After graduating in 1986, Clarissa joined James Hardy Limited as an Assistant Financial Controller. In 1989, Clarissa joined Horwath & Horwath (a medium sized Chartered Accounting firm) as a Graduate Accountant, gaining experience in a wide range of accounting areas.

Then in 1993, Clarissa commenced practice as a sole practitioner and in 1996 joined BKR Walker Wayland as a Partner, bringing with her a new area for the firm in the Asian Business Services Division.

Clarissa speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese and Clarissa has extensive experience in the area of business migration. In particular, Asian clients benefit from tax planning, consulting, investment advice, and accounting and business management.

Jim GarnsworthyPartner

Jim has extensive taxation and business services experience within the chartered accounting profession. He joined CKG Partners in 1998 and became a partner in 2003.

Jim's experience is with a wide range of clients including construction, manufacturing, primary production. Since 1989 he has gained significant experience in providing services to medical and dental practitioners.

During the 1980s Jim also worked in the finance and accounting area of a large public company involved in merchandising, motor vehicles and hotels.

Janette KingPartner

Janette graduated from the University of Queensland in 1988 and joined the firm in 1989 as a graduate accountant.

Janette became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1992 and was appointed a partner in 2003.

During the past 15 years with the practice Janette has been involved with a vast range of clients comprising small to medium sized businesses, professional people to multi-million dollar companies.

Janette has also dealt with a number of her clients in establish Self Managed Superannuation Fund. It is this broad experience which has allowed Janette to become well versed in all facets of taxation and business advisory.

Janette also provides audit services to companies and government funded bodies.

As a contact for many long term clients of the practice Janette is aware of the need to maintain trusting client relationships and to be available for clients.

Janette attempts to maintain balance between business and personal activities in order to remain interested in all facets of life.
